These were fun topics for me to learn as a child, and I realize that it isn’t offered in many schools as it once was. This includes kitchen skills, cleaning and organizing, cursive writing, and so much more!

My daughter who has particularly resisted cursive with me, teachers, OTs and other Outschool classes has taken to this class in a way I almost can't believe. It is so much more than cursive, the games and learning suck my daughter right in and she is eager to do the cursive letter practice intermittently to get back to the games (she doesn't realize that too is writing!). My daughter loves taking classes with Teacher Angela and she especially loved this holiday themed class! She has been decorating the house for the holidays and tidying up to music since class ended a few days ago. Very nice practice writing sheets provided for the kids to follow along, with more practice to do after class. Teacher is very kind and patient, and asks kids to show their work. She sprinkles in interesting topics/facts, so it's not just writing all the time.

Handwriting Club: Printing Life Skill With Fun Weekly Themes
My daughter had an amazing experience with this class. She enjoyed the weekly theme, music, trivia questions, and strategies for organization. She felt empowered to organize her room, which is a goal she set for herself this summer. Ms. Angela was a bubbly and encouraging teacher who kept the class on-task and focused. We would highly recommend this class!

A GODSEND. My 6 year old's pigsty of a room was mushrooming into a major point of contention. Since she started this class, there have been zero arguments. Now, when I walk into her room, I don't immediately step on little figurines or dirty clothes. I smile instead! Not only does she tidy the room very well during the 30 minutes, she ENJOYS doing it AND is starting to think about organization as a concept and likes implementing little strategies.

Angela is AMAZING. She can turn a "cleaning" task into playing and having fun. Our son, for the first time, enjoyed cleaning his room. We are actually thinking of keeping the course at least for 3 months until he gets the habit. No more "clean your room" arguments...

Amazing class! Our 7-year-old still definitely needs to practice, but this class gave him a great strategy — and a sense of excitement about shoe tying, which is a huge change after months of tears and frustration. Angela was patient, positive, and kind. Highly recommend!!!
